This is my second home decor project featuring Car Accents (and neither used my car this time). I bought this vase at Pier 1 years ago, and I enjoy changing its contents along with the seasons. Using one sheet of black Car Accents and my Cricut Happy Haunting cartridge.
I was able to transform this vase into a Halloween creation. The spiderwebs are very intricate and required a lot of patience to apply. Otherwise, it was a quick and easy project. After die cutting the shapes, I simply adhered them and (reluctantly) bought a bag of candy corn to add a little color. Adam and Lauren have already been sneaking pieces of it!
Now, I have an easy way to change this vase for each holiday or season. Check out the GlueArts blog for more designs featuring the Car Accents this week. By the way, I am not a spider person. I can't stand the things. Adam is usually the spider-catcher around here. However, I can handle a few fake creepy crawlies as Halloween accents!
